Oh man. I suck to the 470174397494981389401nth degree. For the last 2 weeks, I've been really pissed at myself for losing my camera. Losing the camera sucked because it was gift from my dad, but I was more bummed about losing all the pix that were still on it. Cameras can be replaced, but some of those photos were definitely priceless. And I was really stressed out because I took Nicole's picture on that camera for the senior scrapbook gift. It's really hard to find pictures of Nicole in general, and I couldn't ask those who would have her picture because they weren't seniors and if they ask why.....well that would just spoil the whole surprise won't it.

So for 2 weeks, I've been pouting like a brat. And the fact that my stupid camera was bothering me so much when there are waaaaaaay more important things in the world really added to my frustration. But I was able to get over it when I found another pic of Nicole. And I remembered that LOG takes gazillion shots of the same pics because everyone has their own camera, that I could always find copies of my priceless pics somehow. And those special moments are forever engraved in my memory so I don't really need the picture. And I'm truly blessed with so many wonderful gifts in my life, that losing my camera is a really insignificant bump on the road.

Today, as I walked to my car at Mesa structure after failing my last test before the final, I rummaged through my backpack to find my keys. Instead of pulling out the Adoremus strap attached to my keys, I find my black case with my camera (decorated with a small purple heart) inside. As I smack myself in the forehead a dozen times, I start to smile. It was a much needed lesson on humility, and attachment. As much as all those pictures mean to me, they are nothing compared to His big picture.

PS- Love Divine was awesome. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful family in Liwanag. Thanks to the next generation for all the love that came from their hearts.

I don't think they read this, but many many many many thanks to Alily and Winnie for all the time they put into the scrapbook. They rock!!!
