So the first night of KROQ's Almost Acoutic Christmas has a ridiculously good lineup. I missed both chances to buy tickets because of work, even with a secret password! I've been bidding on EBAY and keep getting outbid every 2 seconds. The prices have gone up so ridiculously high that I've stopped bidding. $400 for tickets! Last week I made myself listen to nonstop KROQ to call in and win, but to no avail. You should've seen me on Saturday, I was trying to call in and paint my nails for Gala at the same time.

So I'm a little sad. But you know what, it's probably better to watch each bad separately, because each bad is so ridculously good on its own. And last Friday, I had a freaking backstage pass to the best concert ever. Benefit Concert was so awesome!!! Now I'm really excited for the next homeless outreach.

Speaking of homeless outreach, I'm am really really really really excited about the blanket drive. I've been wanting a blanket drivie since my first year in LOG. I remember during my first outreaches, we went after it had been raining hard core. I remember freezing in my bed the night before (even with 2 blankets). And I remember seeing a man sleeping on the street while we passed out lunches. All he had to cover him were newspapers. Then I realized how lucky I was to have my blankets. Unfortunately all my blankets at home are tore up from the floor up. Yea, I have a dog and she sheds hair on it and stuff. Anyway Albertsons has a sale on blankets for super duper cheap. They're hidden in the corner where the restrooms are. They the fleece kind for 3.99. I was buying one to use for when I watched movies on the couch, but Wolfe suggested getting them for the blanket drive. Good deal.

I'm gonna start knitting squares to make a quilt for next year. Anybody want to start a knitting circle with me to make a quilt?
