I have been having the midterm blues lately, and hopefully the worst is over. Midterms + no sleep = cranky & selfish Flo and I'm really sorry if you had to deal with it. Stress cany really bring out that ME ME ME mentality. Yeesh, when I was on my way to work yesterday, the police had the street around the library blocked off. Helicopters were flying and I couldn't get throught. The first thought that popped in my head was "Hmmm, maybe I won't have to go to work today and I can study." Not "Oh, I hope nothing serious happened and that nobody was hurt." Fortunately, nothing was wrong at work. The library was functioning as usual. I guess there was a robbery or attempted robbery at a nearby store, not really sure. Anyways, today ws a better day. On the way to work, right after the midterm that I didn't study enough for, I was finally able to relax and actually noticed the view of the ocean while driving. Praise God for beautiful horizons.

So I'm 22 now apparently. Which is cool I guess, since it's divisible by 11. It's tripping me out how fast college is going though. I'm just like WHAT SENIOR PICTURES ALREADY? This year's birthday was low key, and I kinda like it that way. Had dinner with the roomies, new and old. Got a chance to catch up with people that I don't see enough. So YaY! Tried to run away from the LOG midnight surprise, no escaping caking I guess. But parking lot talks are always fun. Had to study for a midterm on my actual birthday, but was able to sneak in some dinner with Vanessa, Derek, and Leo before I pulled an all nighter. After my midterm and work the next day, had me some LONG OVER DUE MELLO TIME. Ate at the Wheel, my favorite. Tamarind (fake) chicken.....YUM! Dessert after at Coldstone. Copa Banana Cabana is sooooo good. And I think it's named after my favorite Barry Manilow song. Lots and lots of parking lot talk last night. Oh and one of the coolest birthday gifts EVER. A second snowglobe to build my collection. It's a Vegas one, and I think it plays the theme to Ocean's 11. But I'm not really sure. Saturday, had some awesome fellowship with Marites, Sarah, and Ei. Adoration, Mass, and dinner at Olive Garden-what more can anyone ask for? Birthday cards make me smile. Especially handmade ones. Especially handmade ones that were snuck in my car. Dinner with the family on Sunday. Got cool souveniers from Hawaii courtesy of my Ate and Gino. Saw lots of family. Tita Tita's chocolate cake. My mom bought lots and lots of food especially for me....because nobody else eats vegetables. =) My new debit and gas cards finally arrived. Hung out with Cookie the whole time. And Mommy Luming gave me a diary. Oh, and I got an awesome present the other day. Persimmons and an I heart NY t-shirt. What a cool combination. I was really well fed this week. Yummy food, what a blessing. Sometimes I go to bed and realize, whoa I forgot to eat today. So it was really cool getting to eat so many times. Yay.

Anyway, that was just a long paragraph that didn't really flow....but was my way of saying THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR MAKING ME SMILE. And I
