Healthy lunches, yum. Today I sauteed some garlic with egg whites, seasoned it with some basil and oregano, and stuffed it in mini whole wheat pitas with some tomatoes and cheese. The food network is seriously giving me a food complex.

I decided to call up an old friend, that I haven't talked with in forever. We exchanged the usual pleasantries, "Hi", "How are you", "How's the family", and everything of that sort. There's so much more I wish I could tell him, and I say it in my head everytime. "Thanks. You've really made an impact on my life, more than you could ever know. I'm sorry we couldn't have been better friends, but I thank God for using you to touch me when no one else could." So much time has passed though, and it would be weird to say it now. But I am really grateful for the hellos.

Went to Venice Beach today. Fun stuff. I love cities with character and diversity. Don't see too much of that in Orange County, especially the pseudo-Pleasantville of Irvine. And $20 for a body piercing above the belt, can't beat that. One day, but not today.

Second time going to Hooters. Hooray for grilled cheese, happy birthday songs when it's not really anybody's birthdays, and most of all CJ.
