Today I felt like June from Joy Luck Club after her mom died and and she was asked to take her place in the mah-jong table. Nobody died or anything, but I was asked to play mah-jong with the grown ups. My family and I went over my aunt's house to visit Mommy Luming. I've played before with my cousins were younger, but usually I just watch my dad play with all the aunts and uncles. Whenever they need an extra player, they usually grab one of my older cousins or my sister to play. It was just my brother and me, and they needed a fourth player because my other aunt was helping Mommy in the game. Mommy Luming gave me $5 to bet with and I actually one twice. One game, I won $1.50 from each person because it was a bunot. I think that's how it's spelled. Overall I made three dollars. Not bad for a youngun. I feel bad for taking Mommy's money, but I don't want to be disrespectfall and refuse. I can use that money to watch a movie or something. The Passion of the Christ is opening on Wednesday so maybe I can see that.

I had a dentist appointment today. Not my favorite thing to do on a Saturday, but at least I bumped into Thomby and we were able to catch up for a little bit. As usual, my mouth was sputtering like a sprinkler. It sucks for the lady cleaning my teeth because I think I sprayed her with saliva the whole time.
